We need to learn and accept that our children start off totally dependent upon their parents. It is, or should be, the parent’s goal to rear a responsible, healthy, independent person. Children should be allowed to express their feelings, and parents can help children learn to express their feelings in a healthy manner. Parents should also praise their children for their efforts. Children want to be praised and it is critical that parents should recognize and respond in a positive manner to their efforts. Simple family bonding will really help a lot in order for us to let our children express their feelings. We need to spend quality time with them teaching them by giving encouragement and support morally. As a father I need to devote time with my family.
